We need more godly men and women in leadership positions. We need them running businesses, community organizations, and in all levels of government. In each one of these areas, there will be unique temptations to compromise. We must always be true to the principle of integrity. Cutting corners only places one farther behind…not farther ahead. Do you live the kind of life that testifies to personal integrity and righteousness?

A Commitment to Integrity
God is Listening!
God will supply us with all our needs (Philippians 4:19) and will provide us with love and care during hard times. This is why the Christian can hold his head high and lead a life filled with optimism – even during trial and adversity. Praise God that He listens and cares about each one of us!

What Made Jesus’ Teaching So Attractive?
In preparation for a study in Mark's gospel, I came across the following comments by William Hendrickson on the teaching of Jesus. Early in Jesus' ministry, the gospels contain numerous descriptions of the reaction of the Jewish people to the teaching of Christ. Mark 1.22 and 27 describe them as being "astonished" and "amazed." What made Jesus' teaching so attractive?

A Powerful Lesson From Zephaniah
How strong is our loyalty to God? While we may not bow down to the stars of heaven or worship graven images, we have our own “idols” to deal with. For example, how many fall down to the idol of materialism – letting it sap away our resources and time to feed its insatiable appetite? The effects of the materialistic mindset may be far more reaching that we care to realize.

I am excited to begin a series of lessons, beginning July 11, with the Rose St. Church of Christ that meets in Anchorage, Alaska. Check This Out
I found an interesting tool this morning at Tagxedo.com. This online app allows you to create your own word cloud image and save it to your computer. The tag cloud displays words visually, with their size being determined by the frequency they are used. For the example on the left, I copied a number of bible verses related to prayer. Since I wanted “Pray Without Ceasing” to be emphasized, I copied it in multiple times. You can choose the font style, style and shape of the tag cloud. This might be a good tool to use in presenting illustrations...
