Are you sure of your salvation? Ask an objective question: Have I obeyed the gospel? Then ask a subjective question: Is my faith real/active?

How Do We Come Across?
"Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person," Colossians 4:5-6. When communicating the fact of religious error to those who are outside of the body of Christ, or to those who are new Christians, how do we come across? What is the perception we leave? We must exercise caution with the words we speak, lest a few careless words slam shut the doors of opportunity to teach.

Using Our Time for God
Time is a precious gift from God and must be used wisely. Time is an element that is intricately associated with everything we do in this life. We cannot create it. We cannot get it back once it has been spent. Therefore we must take it to heart and exhibit wisdom. Teach us to number our days, that we may present to You a heart of wisdom, Psalm 90:12. How do we exercise wisdom with the time we have?

It Can Change So Fast
How strange does God’s word sound in modern American society? Does it seem out of place? Will His message fall on deaf ears? Have we become so comfortable that we cannot possibly imagine living under different circumstances? As we bask in our material blessings and witness our culture turning away from godly living, we should be warned that sin will not go unpunished by God.

Check This Out
I found an interesting tool this morning at Tagxedo.com. This online app allows you to create your own word cloud image and save it to your computer. The tag cloud displays words visually, with their size being determined by the frequency they are used. For the example on the left, I copied a number of bible verses related to prayer. Since I wanted “Pray Without Ceasing” to be emphasized, I copied it in multiple times. You can choose the font style, style and shape of the tag cloud. This might be a good tool to use in presenting illustrations...
