Matthew Allen currently serves the Kettering Ohio Church of Christ.
Matthew Allen has been preaching regularly since 1995. After moving to Brownsburg, IN for a year-long preacher training program, Matthew began his work with Cyclone Church of Christ near Tompkinsville, Kentucky in 1996. In 1997, Matthew and his family moved to Rapid City, South Dakota where he worked for the Southside congregation until 2003. From 2003-2010, Matthew worked with the Brownsburg, IN Church of Christ in Brownsburg, Indiana.
Matthew regularly conducts gospel meetings and lectureships for churches of Christ throughout the United States. He has written a number of workbooks on scripture and topical studies, including From Fear to Faith, Living a Spirit Filled Life, and the Minor Prophets. Matthew’s evangelical work outside of the United States has taken him to Ukraine, Belize, and Canada.
Matthew enjoys the outdoors. Hiking, golfing, camping, and canoeing are some of his favorite recreational pursuits. He enjoys traveling and experiencing the beauty of God’s creation.
Matthew is the son of Sam and Donna Allen (Rapid City, SD) and his wife Becky is the daughter of Carl and Loretta King (Hackett, AR). Matthew and Becky were married in 1994 and have two children, Emilea and Zackary.
