I am excited to begin a series of lessons, beginning July 11,  with the Rose St. Church of Christ that meets in Anchorage, Alaska. This will be my first opportunity to visit “The Last Frontier” and I look forward to being encouraged by the saints there. David Webb is the local preacher there, and I know it will be a pleasure to finally get to meet in him in person.

Over the course of the week, July 11-16, I will be preaching a series of lessons that focuses on the theme From Fear to Faith. All Christians need to be strengthened in the objective promises that are contained throughout the New Testament concerning our assurance of salvation.

I am also looking forward to seeing Les and Donna Heiden, whom I’ve known since our days in South Dakota. They have lived in Alaska for the better part of a decade, and just as they were to the church in Rapid City, they are an asset to the work in Anchorage. It will be great to spend time with them again and see the sights that Alaska has to enjoy.

I will arrive back in Ohio on July 17.
